All doctors on hand

Some of our visits are just so special for us handlers as well as our clients and animals. When we visit with the students at the UNLV Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, we meet in the Wellness Room. It is comfortable, quiet and has soft lighting. Today we saw a few students we knew and they were so happy to see us again. And some staff and students we had not met before came in as well and they were very excited to know we are there regularly. Lucy and Benny are terrific together. They each have their fan club and are happy to share the attention. The door is open to our room and some students walked by in their white coats – so proud. They looked in and said “The dogs are here!” No matter how much they are in a hurry to get somewhere they take a moment to pet the dogs and just chill.
