We celebrated National Therapy Animal Day with our friends and colleagues at Southern Hills Hospital. We were especially excited because we had some teams participate that we have not seen in a year so we ourselves as volunteers had a bit of a reunion!
The event at Southern Hills Hospital was so successful. We planned on being outside but it was extremely hot so they permitted us to gather in the lobby. We have not been inside in over a year so this was a very special visit indeed. We spread out in their beautiful lobby and so many people came by to see us. The animals were comfortable and were able to truly make a difference. We even met with visitors who came to see their loved ones.
