Charlie goes to UNLV
The Honors Class at UNLV invites me in to be a guest speaker for a class about the healing power of the pets, and how we integrate the therapy animals into a variety of situations. I share my story about how I got started volunteering, my prior career in the business world and what Pet Partners of Las Vegas is all about. This is one of the most enjoyable invitations all year. This time I brought Charlie and all the students fell in love with him instantly. What a great group of students. They asked the most amazing questions and totally understood how the animals have such an impact on those they meet. Thank you to Professor Blankfield for making this such a wonderful experience for everyone, including Charlie! And the The Shot of the Day has to be Charlie when he woke from a brief nap and had a very bad hair day!
