We are still covering other therapy teams at one of our weekend teen treatment centers. So Charlie got to work today. He really loves this facility and he saw several kids he knew. We also met a few new kids and they had heard all about the therapy dogs that visit. It was such a wonderful visit. The kids ask such insightful questions of us and really want to know what we do, how we do it and most importantly why we volunteer. Today was especially moving for Charlie and me as we had such quality conversations with the kids. I learn something new every time and I really listen and hear what they have on their minds. And of course Charlie, the deaf dog, is the best listener! And he showed everyone how he tweaks!
