A very special visit

One of our hospital partners always asks patients if they would like a pet visit.  Sometimes these requests happen when they do not have any therapy pets around so they call me to see if I can come over. I live close and love these special visits. We had such a call this week and I packed up Charlie and we went to meet this person in need of some comfort. Las Vegas is a pretty tight community and while I may not have known this person, I certainly knew OF this person. We had so much in common. It was as if we knew each other forever. This person knew a few of our other therapy teams from years ago so we got to share stories. Charlie was wonderful. He just lay on his blanket on the side of the bed and enjoyed all the cuddles. I promised to bring Buddy today so off we go for another amazingly sweet visit.
