Buddy at his best work

Buddy is a very sweet dog. He enjoys everywhere we go but of course has favorite assignments. He truly enjoys the kids in the various behavioral health hospitals we visit the most and loves when they hug him, pet him, cuddle and cradle him.  He knows just who needs him the most and always gravitates towards those kids. Perhaps it is because they share something very powerful in common. They may have had a rough start in life or rocky patch and come together to heal.  Buddy understands what it is like to begin your life all over again as a senior dog. He moved here from far away. He left the only people he knew, started living with other dogs and meeting new people all the time. He thrived from this new life and the kids learn they can too. Today is always the first day of the rest of your life and the dogs show us how to be resilient and brave and open to new adventures.
