Buddy at work

Buddy loves being a therapy dog and he enjoys everywhere he goes. But his favorite assignment is with the teens we see weekly. They all have issues and totally understand this special little dog. They have learned patience and empathy and genuine love from this little poodle. And this is the only time Buddy gives belly up for tickling and loves hopping into their laps. I believe the healing power of the pets reaches far beyond a simple visit. They remember and one young man today told me he met us four years ago and remembers Benny.  He also remembered Rocky – dogs that have passed away but stay in his memory. Everyone wanted to read our new book and all the groups we met with were calm and focused and gentle. It was a great visit all around.
