Buddy goes to the library

We partner with the Clark County District Libraries and my assigned library is Spring Valley. I bring one of my dogs and invite others to join us. But last night it was just Buddy. No one else was available so he put on his big dog persona and went himself. And it happened to be our largest attendance ever! This title dog was there for many more kids than usual and he just loved it. I brought one of Benny’s old puzzle games and they helped me teach Buddy how to find the treats. He never saw the game before and was not quite sure what to do. But with their encouragement and praise he figured it out. The kids who already knew Buddy told the others how he loves to climb in their laps so we took out the Magic Blanket and he did a few laps. Then they wanted to read about other therapy pets in our program so they read to Buddy. And of course he got lots of belly rubs. This was the best visit ever and I bet now more and more teens join our group next time.
