Looking towards the future

If you noticed Buddy has been doing a lot more work lately. He told me he is ready to take on some of Charlie’s assignments so Charlie can rest a bit more. Charlie will continue to attend those events and assignments that especially love and request this little dog. But Buddy has surpassed every expectation of what he can do. He is enjoying not only his usual visits with kids but the larger events as well. As long as he can get lots of belly rubs he’s in!  This is how I transition my therapy dogs as they get older and the next one is ready to step in.  And hopefully in a few months Sophie will be able to be a Pet Partners therapy dog as well.
