We hosted our annual Pet Partners of Las Vegas / Love Dog Adventures Volunteer Recognition and Celebration yesterday and it was a tremendous success. The event has been held at Red Rock Resort for several years now and this year they were absolutely amazing to work with. Our turnout was wonderful but of course we hope next year to have everyone able to attend. We recapped 2022 and shared plans for 2023. This year we recognized our higher education partners and thanked Nevada State College, College of Southern Nevada (all three campuses) and UNLV for being our partners since 2013! And we had a special guest come in from National Pet Partners. We are one of their leadership teams so we were so grateful to have Ashley Drew, National Director, Special Events and Field Development, join us. She shared upcoming news from the national level and recognized Pet Partners of Las Vegas as the top Community Partner in the recent World’s Largest Pet Walk. Our Team Captain, Kristy Albanese, was given the Sneakers Certificate.
Thank you to all of our handlers, volunteers, therapy pets, unleashed volunteers (who do not have their own pet!) and corporate sponsors and supporters. 2022 was an outstanding year as we resumed our relationships since Covid and know 2024 will allow us to do even more in our community.
