Today was such a great visit with Rocky. Several classes were combined so for one session we had over fifteen special kids and Rocky loved it! The children with autism wwere beyond amazing today. Every child wanted to interact with him. They wanted to cuddle and cradle him. They wanted to look at him and touch him. They let him crawl into their laps. We wrapped him in his blanket like a burrito so he had more weight to him so the children could hold him carefully. Every child was calm and gentle and this is truly the most rewarding activity for Rocky.
And when all the children left the room, Rocky looked for them mournfully.
