Scarlet made her debut at UNLV Lied Library today and she was a rock star! What an awesome visit it was. Library staff came out for her first appearance and later in the year she will meet students. But today was a special thank you to UNLV for being such an outstanding supporter of our program for so many years. Thank you to Katie and Pamela for being such amazing handlers and bringing joy to everyone. Scarlet had her area to stand on and everyone wanted a chance to have their photo taken with her. She even took a selfie or two! She was brushed, cuddled, had her hair braided and she even had a treat … her favorite carrots. It couldn’t have gone better and we are so excited for the next visit.
