Yesterday was Halloween so we decided to stop by Southern Hills Hospital for a visit and show one of our teams where we go there. Guess who we ran into as soon as we arrived – a Cat! Erica was the most beautiful kitty and we saw many other amazing costumes on the staff. Pet Partners therapy animals can’t wear costumes when they work but Charlie wore the orange bandana from our recent Walk and looked quite festive! Halloween is traditionally scary and noisy and creepy but it can be very disturbing for your pets.. Pet Partners therapy program actually does not permit therapy dogs to wear costumes when working. Not only may it affect your pet’s demeanor, but prevent clients from having access to the animal’s full body for easy petting. But if you choose to dress up your pet in his personal “off time” take care to make sure he is happy and comfortable.              This is Coco in her cost
