Another amazing school visit

Today Charlie visited with special kids at Mervin Iverson ES. We have a long relationship with this school going back to 2013. I remember we met with over 200 students with seven dogs at one time. But today was just Charlie working his magic with a small group of students. He sat on laps and gave hugs and let them brush him. And when we started reading the new books that we created, he sat and “listened.” Of course he is deaf but he looks right at the child reading and is so interested.  The Resource Teacher showed me she still had Coco the Love Dog doggie in her room. We brought her a new one and the original Coco the Love Dog book and some other things to keep on hand as virtual therapy tools. This was a wonderful visit and Charlie was his usual rock star!
