Buddy at work

Buddy is an outstanding therapy dog and is comfortable in all types of environments and with all populations. But he especially shines when working with teenagers. Today we were at one of the  treatment centers we visit and Buddy was just so happy. We see two unity  back to back with a brief break in between. The first group is split into two sessions and we had girls and boys today. Some of the kids knew Buddy and some were new to us. Those who knew him shared things about him with the newbies. I am always amazed how much they remember and go into great detail about his background. Today they shared so many facts and then went into what he likes the best. Buddy was totally in his element and we had a few breakthroughs. Kids who initially did not join the group or were reluctant to interact with Buddy, changed their mind and couldn’t resist petting him. This was a spectacular day for everyone, especially Buddy!
