Charlie started partnering with a very special facility and had his first “official” visit today. He had gone before to meet the staff. We wanted everyone involved to be comfortable with having a therapy dog as part of the team. And he won them all over! So today he saw his first client (patient) and it was such a beneficial hour. At first the client wasn’t too sure about this therapy dog idea! But very quickly the mood in the room changed and a very productive visit began. We will be back and look forward to harnessing the power of the little dog to bring about focus, communication, joy and comfort. And I bet Rocky wants to go there as well.
