We participated in a national Pet Partners initiative “Dogs in the Classroom” and went to a new school today. Grant Sawyer Middle School invited us to meet with three sixth grade classes and it was the most wonderful visit. We brought four therapy teams and the students got to learn about therapy animals and what these particular dogs do. The students were so interested and asked great questions and were very impressed with how quiet and calm the dogs were! Everyone always is. Thank you to Bob and Dexter, Rosie and Birdie, Ron and Sailor, Charlie, Karin for making this such an engaging visit. And a special thank you to Shawn for coordinating the visit smoothly so the students all had a chance to pet a dog!
