NV Phillipine Nurses Association

Today Charlie and I had the honor of being the guest on Doris Bauer’s Podcast for the Nevada Philippine Nurses Association.  We were invited to speak about animal assisted therapy and the benefits to a whole host of populations, especially in the mental health arena. We had so much fun sharing our stories of how we integrate the therapy animals into traditional and non-traditional therapies. We also spoke about the joy that comes from having the pets be a part of a wide variety of situations. And of course what it means to be a volunteer and the requirements to become a Pet Partners therapy team. When the show is edited and available I will share it with everyone.
